11 soldiers have been reportedly killed during an encounter with a large number of suspected terrorists who invaded a military base at the Pole wire village, Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State.
Lagos-based Vanguard newspaper quoted a source to have confirmed that the bandits on motorbikes invaded the base and opened fire on the soldiers.
The source further stated that ”Some of the bandits were carrying Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG). They engaged the soldiers for about 2 hours.
